MACKEREL FISH PENDANT

Nature is simplified in this solid silver pendant. A reminder of family fishing trips to Lyme Regis, decades before it became my home. I’ve watched hundreds of families returning to the harbour with their little catch, to take home or barbecue on the beach in the evening sunshine. My small tribute to the fishes of the bay and sunny summer holidays.

The design was carved in wax, then cast in molten Sterling Silver, finished and polished to a high shine. The tail of the fish has been engraved by hand with fine vertical lines to catch the light. Gemstones can be added to the body area if you’d like to enhance the scales!

The pendant is partnered with an 18” sterling silver snake chain, smooth on the skin and a gorgeous layering piece.
