SYMBIO SNOWFLAKE PENDANT

A nod to the symbiotic relationship of beautiful lichen, a circular silver pendant set in the Serti Neige or snowflake style.

Serti neige is a stone setting technique where gemstones of varying sizes are set side by side with minimal visible metal, creating a dense but random, sparkling surface reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. The stones in this setting range from 0.8mm to 2.2mm, with every size in between. This type of setting is time-consuming and requires great skill.

The pendant is crafted from molten Sterling Silver, then polished to a high shine before being set with sparkling Moissanites. The reverse of the pendant is highly polished and is the location for the hallmark.

The Symbio pendant is mirror-polished on the reverse and has been hallmarked by The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office in London.

The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office is where hallmarking began over 700 years ago.

• means that the article has been independently tested.

• guarantees that the jewellery conforms to all legal standards of purity (fineness).

• guarantees provenance by telling you where the piece was hallmarked, what the article is made from, and who sent the article for hallmarking. 

The pendant is partnered with an 18” sterling silver wheat chain, so called because the 4 strands of silver woven together resemble a sheaf of wheat. The intricate design of the chain has a beautiful texture and is comfortable and smooth against the skin.
