Sometimes, in the workshop, you just can’t lay your hands on that essential tool. This was the case when I wanted to polish inside the nostrils of my silver alpaca nose rings! Someone’s gotta do it!
I wound some steel wool, gauge 0000 around a diamond burr and hey presto, a nostril polisher of the finest grade was born.
The rings were modelled on the muzzle of a much-loved alpaca, who at the age of 21, sadly passed. This is a very good age for an alpaca and she had a charmed life on our farm. The rings celebrate our darling Chic and alpacas everywhere, whose gentle nature charms everyone they meet.
