What are origins

It’s not always easy to pinpoint a moment of inspiration. Whether a country walk, beachcombing or fossil hunting, the intricacies of nature inevitably pierce the imagination and the idea for a piece of jewellery begins to grow.

There is usually detailed experimentation with gold and silver, cutting and melting before the piece is born, and these development items form the basis of ORIGINS.

These are not traditional ‘seconds’ but original, one-off pieces that were formed in the development of a new design.

Sustainability

My jewellery-making embraces sustainability by selecting recycled precious metals and lab-grown gemstones. The sale of concept development pieces is a further commitment to this approach.
